## Price

- $15 USD, one-time. One license key, one person, up to 3 Macs, home or work.
- Updates within the major version are included (0.x and 1.x count as one).
- Refund for any reason within 15 days, through the link on the receipt.
- The app downloads only after payment; the receipt carries the license key and the download.

## What you need

- A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later), macOS 13 or later.
- An r1 running compatible custom firmware. Installing it is a one-time job of about two hours from the Mac's terminal; it voids the r1's warranty and erases it. A guided installer for stock r1s is in development.
- For Agent mode: Claude Code installed and signed in on the Mac. Claude costs are separate.

## What it does

- Whisper mode: hold the side button, speak, let go; speech is turned into text on the Mac and typed at the cursor in any app. A sheet on the r1 offers Return and Undo.
- Whisper auto mode: the same, and Return is pressed at once.
- Agent mode: one ongoing Claude conversation (the "Pet thread") running on the Mac through the Claude Agent SDK. Each tool it wants to use is an Allow or Deny card on the r1. The pet can answer through the r1's speaker.
- The pet shows the mode: a paper plane (Whisper), a pilot's cap (Whisper auto), an agent outfit (Agent).
- It does NOT follow your own Claude Code terminal sessions; it has its own conversation.
- Privacy: dictation runs on the Mac (speech model downloaded once, about 465 MB). Agent requests go to Anthropic.

## Install (Mac)

1. Buy; the receipt has the license key and the download.
2. Open Digihome.dmg, drag Digihome to Applications, eject, open it from Applications.
3. Paste the license key (Command V) in the Digihome window to register the Mac.
4. Set up your r1 from the app: USB data cable, allow USB debugging on the r1, Install the pet, pair over Bluetooth (the r1 shows as r1-pet).
5. Allow Bluetooth, and allow "Digihome Typing" in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility (Device Control and Data Access on macOS 27). The person clicks these.
