License
Digihome License Agreement
Copyright (c) 2026 FreakinAmazing LLC. All rights reserved.
This is the agreement between you and FreakinAmazing LLC ("we", "us") for Digihome: the Mac app, the app for the r1, and the files that come with them ("the software"). By buying, registering or using the software you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
1What you get
You get a license to use the software, not ownership of it. The license is personal to you: it is not exclusive and you may not transfer it. One license key is for one person. You may register it on up to three Macs that you use, at home or at work. A team needs one key for each person. You can free a seat yourself from the link on your receipt, and then use it on another Mac.
2Updates
Your key works with the version you bought and with every update to the same major version. For this purpose the releases numbered 0.x and 1.x are one major version. A later major version may be a separate purchase. We do not promise any particular update, feature or date.
3What you may not do
You may not share, publish, sell, rent or give away a license key. You may not pass the software, or any part of its source code, on to anyone else, changed or unchanged. You may not remove or get around the registration check. You may read the source code that ships inside the app, but you may not copy it into other software.
4Refunds
You can ask for a refund for any reason within 15 days of buying, through the link on your receipt or from the seller named on it. A refund or a chargeback ends this license and turns the key off.
5Registration and what is sent
To register a Mac, the software sends three things to the license service run by the seller named on your receipt: your license key, the public id of our store, and a label for that Mac such as "Mac (a1b2)". The label is made of random characters: it is never the name of your Mac or an id of its hardware. After that the software checks the key about once a day, sending the key, the public id of our store and the id of that Mac's seat. The key is kept in a file on your Mac that only your user account can read. If the license service cannot be reached, a registered Mac keeps working. Only an answer that the key, or that Mac's seat, is no longer valid turns the software off on that Mac: for example after a refund, or after you free that seat.
6Software from other people
The software includes components written by others, which stay under their own licenses. Those licenses are listed in the notices that come with the software. Nothing in this agreement limits the rights those licenses give you in those components.
7The r1
Digihome works with an r1 on which you have installed different system software. Doing that is your decision and at your own risk: it can void the device's warranty and can leave the device unusable. Digihome is not made, endorsed or supported by the maker of the r1.
8No warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
9Limit of liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA OR LOST PROFITS, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10Ending
This license ends by itself if you break this agreement, and when your purchase is refunded or charged back. When it ends you must stop using the software and delete your copies. Sections 3, 6, 8 and 9 continue to apply.
11New versions
This agreement covers the version of the software it comes with. A later version may come with changed terms, which then apply to that version.
12The whole agreement
This is the whole agreement between you and us about the software. If a court finds one part of it cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. The laws of the State of Utah, USA, govern this agreement, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. If the law where you live gives you rights as a consumer that an agreement cannot take away, you keep them. For questions, use the support contact on your receipt.
